Ok, so, another project i did on my 7 off last week. I was tired of my Ocean Kayak Scrambler 11 being orange......on a bright summer afternoon, the orange can be really bright and reflective!! So i painted it with some no glare, anti reflective paint. Went from a light moss green to a dark olive green to black, with a black cock pit.....then finished it off with several coats of uv resistant clear coat

before.....

Looks awesome man. Nice work
thanks buddy
Looks nice.. What type of paint? you gave me some ideas for mine. lol

That's pretty rad
sweet, never thought of the glare factor, thing looks good, your just becoming a painter now.
yeah well, ya know...anything to not be in the house doin woman work! lol i used rustoleum paint adhesive first, then rustoleum no glare camo paint, then krylon fusion plastic clear coat. came out better than i expected! make sure you scuff it REALLY good first, or else the paint will just bead off
Nice paint job.
The kayak looks superb in orange. This style of kayaks are very useful for slow and placid water and provide easy touring and helpful in racing and complex maneuvering in fast-moving whitewater as well as for fishing and long-distance ocean excursions.
I seriously what to get a yak!
