so, the other day we hit the beachj and did some surf fishing, didnt do so great. We were only there for an hour and a half because the wife had a meeting to go to for work. When we got home i got excited to have a few hours free so i threw the yak in the back of the truck and headed out. Got out on the water and paddled out to where i wanted to be and decided to get out and wade a bit.....well in a rush to get out there, i forgot to grab a ziplok bag for the phone....got out there, pulled the phone out of my pocket to get a snapshot of my catch, put the phone back in my pocket and missed....in the water it went. got the phone out of the water, went home rinsed it, stuck in in rice for a day, then took apart and cleaned with alcohol...NO BUENO!!! i ve only had the phone for 6 months...and no insurance......AT&T says thank you sir, thatll be $550 for a new one....... so needless to say, ive been without a phone for a week already!
