Nail a Wacky Worm

The wacky worm (a straight-tail plastic worm hooked through the middle) catches lots of bass.
In some situations, it might catch even more if you
insert a small nail straight into the worm’s nose. This makes the lure stand straight up with its tail wagging, a special action sure to attract nearby bucketmouths.
Mikey, IDK whats gotten you to post all these neat tips, but I sure am thankfull! I might give that a whirl tomorrow. Gonna take the kids to Big Bear for some trout action. Might find some early bass in the shallows.
well now that i can kind of type again, well the site is coming back alive. Good luck up there and yes let us know how you do.
Will do! Nobody post reports on fresh water, so I guess I'll be he guinea pig. LOL
its been a while, yes please do!
I just wish Big Bear wasn't closed to boats in the winter. I know a lot of great spots on the lake, but you need a boat for most of them.
i know it sucks, the ice can be bad and i get that but it should be monitored and if no ice open it up! just saying!!!!!
I agree! I don't think ice has been a threat this year.
maybe for a min. HAHA
