So some may know that the Regional Park at Prado Dam has a camp ground. it actually very nice and accommodating. sites set up for tent or large RV's with clean facilities and great staff. all sites have a fire pit and picnic table with running water and rv sites have full hook ups.
besides the lake for fishing kayaking etc... they have kids play park, disc golf and the equestrian center. so for a fun weekend close to home get away, there you go.
also added bonus they allow dogs!
my rating on the park from 1 - 10 i would say a 9.5
