Had a buddy out at Cat today, i was supposed to go but i over slept. He said it is tough out at cat with currents. He said you would get set up and current would switch, and then switch again, then again. He would get a steady pick on the bass, the current would switch and it would be wide open rays then sand sharks on the next current switch. There was a few private boaters that did get lucky with a few White Seabass. Just a weird month of water. Last 2 weeks wind, now currents, the only good thing is water temp still is okay in areas. Just a month ago everything looked promising. I know its only time for everything to goes off but when? If you want Seabass, Channels caught 148 today. Better start heading north i guess.
