So fishing was pretty good this weekend. First part of the day was very slow. Had one fish in the box all day. Later in the afternoon I decide to make a 30 miles run and it pay off big time. Caught dozen bass, bluegills, carp, tiny striper, and wfo limit style on the channel catfish.


Channel catfish are all 1.5 - 2 lbs stuff.

The one flathead I kept was 6 lbs.

Bass were all cookie cutter size. They were just under 13", not legal to keep in IV.

Ended up with 6lb of fillet. Guess I'll have fish for dinner tonight..... Tongue

Made a light batter "water, flour, chili powder, garlic salt" for the fillet. Then coated it with panko bread crumbs. Good stuff.

Made a light batter "water, flour, chili powder, garlic salt" for the fillet. Then coated it with panko bread crumbs. Good stuff.
