Damn, that's a great way to break a rod. Not slamming in a car door or stepping on them like mine break. (Shakes head in disappointment)

My count is up to 5. 5!! Freaking rods. Time to get an ugly stick I think.
I broke to fenwicks in the same spot. I believe the tip is to weak for big baits but you wouldn't think so with a 15-40 lb rating.. But I cut back which is only a inch and both rods are now perfect!
