COB 27th of May Fish Report

Fish Report for Monday, May 27th:

.

Catalina: Some huge scores came from that East End area again. Trick was to stick around til after the fleet left. Better tides in the evening and at night anyways. Few yellows around and biting too.

.

San Clemente Island: A few headed out this way expecting the promised land (I would have done it) and found less than spectacular fishing. Few yellows up the front at Gold Bluff and I’m sure a few around White Rock, but it was good enough for guys to end up rockfishing again.

.

SBI: Rumors only at this point.

.

Local: I guess a few sandies have moved into the mud! For me that means its time to hit the wrecks. The really big sandies hang on the wrecks while the spawners head out to do their thing. Add in a few cudas and its like it summer in May. The question is, “What will we be doing in July???” Maybe putting up Christmas lights?
