So after purchasing new rods at the fred hall show the next step was purchasing new reels. I already had the penn fathom 25nld2 so naturally I picked up the 30ld2 and 40nld2 for 40lb and 50-60lb reels. I've been drooling over accurate's new tern line of star drag reels since they were released last November. So I picked up the 400 and 500. 400 for 25lb bait and the 500 for my new surface iron reel. I picked them both up in the limited edition black because I wanted them to somewhat match the fathoms. Now I feel ready for pretty much anything this season can throw at me. Is it tuna time yet?
