Just a heads up DVL is open for night fishing again this Saturday, July, 21. Fees are $50 per boat + $7 parking + $12 lunch fee + $3 each for fishing. You can launch after the lake is clear of people. Last time I went we launch just before 8pm. Striper bite been wfo this week with many getting limit doing the bait n wait thing. Go get em guys.......

Mikey's just using that as an example to say DVL night fishing is really expensive. its a lot more to paddy hop especially if you keep finding paddies with nobody home. 47 gallons of fuel @ $3.70/gallon=$175. 2 gallons of 2 stroke oil roughly @ $10/each=$20. Launch Fee roughly $10-15. Beer= gotta figure $50 at least.... driving over and hitting paddies cause your too drunk to steer around them....priceless!

That sound like fun, and you know I don't drink much while out fishing.The price of gas is not bad at all if everyone all pitch in for gas. I fish DVL alone lot of time last year, and them pontoon are $200 a day. Can get expensive real fast.

?? Next time I want to fish DVL I better give you a call n spend that money for ocean fishing. How much gas do you burn on a day of paddies hoppin??
