Fun Winter time Fishing
#1
Ok so i had like 12 hours of fly time and like 5 hours of airport time. With that comes reading time, so i bought a few mags. ( and no no porn, damn it i knew i forgot something) anyways started reading the Salt Water one. some really good reads in it, the one that stood out for me was "winter time blues".
The report/story goes on to say that the Winter time doesn't mean you have to put all your gear away. Blues are still fun to catch, also the fact that the weather can be just beautiful out off the cost of Cali. set up a chum slick and go for the fun, you also never know what else may show up. the article was set up for the bait and switch deal for fly rod. However i know i would not enjoy the fly rod set up i would prefer to do the choose my line # via the site of what fish comes along.
The article went on to include the fly rig set up, fly line to mono with a welded ring to single strand wire to the fly.
Well i hope this can shed a little light on the winter time slow fishing.
