Giant bluefin tuna making an appearance
#1
Read some reports over this weekend of boats finding schools of giant bluefin ranging from 50-140lbs around 175 miles. They also found some yellowfin and dorado which is uncommon this early in the year. I think this epic season is about to go off.... Cant wait for my 2.5 day trip coming up at the end of june

I'm in, let plan this. I might have to use your trolling geat tho. My Penn 2 spd only have 50# mono in it. Might be too light for them sharks.

I believe its about 175-200 miles. Its not a WFO bite though, they sat on the school for 9 hours apicked out 25 fish, 22 being over 100lbs. But its a good sign, I would like to be there when they get into a feeding frenzy
