Knives
#1
I didn't see a Thread for knives so I thought i would add one. I am not a knife expert in any way shape or form. I like them and i have a bunch.

Just recently i picked up the Gerber Bear Grylls knife. Its pretty good actually. I dont know much about Gerber but i like this Knife. It feels good in the hand its solid.

When the knife first came out there was some issues it wasnt full tang and the steel pomle on the bottom would break off due to just being attached to the plastic... that version never made it to Canada. we only got the Welded Full tang version

What other Knifes to you recommend?

I like something versatile. I'm not sure where i stand right now on serrated blades. it has one but my pocket knife doesnt. so i dont know. i havent had the chance to use it yet.

i can see when sailing or on a boat the serration is handy but if gutting something i dont know.
