New Sled...
#1
Picked up an old, late 70's 14' Valco. She ain't pretty, but she floats. I'll be spending some time on her to rig it up the way I want. I'm thinking maybe put the batteries in one of the forward seats for ballast and to keep them out of the way. If I go that route, I'll run a power line to the transom to make an easy connect for the trolling motor. I also want to run a separate battery for a fish finder and whatever other goodies I can think of.

I don't have a main power source yet, but I do have an old 4 horse Johnson that will suffice. It's a neat little boat, and will be fun to take to the Sierra's or hooping lobster in the bay.

P.S. I didn't bother with a pic... If you've seen one old Valco, you've seen em all.
