I want a bird mount also... whats the proper way to store a .. lets say pheasant.. does one just freeze the bird with its wings properly fitted to its sided and then when ready take it to him?

I take mine and lay everything nice and smooth with the head tucked under its breast then slip pantyhose over it and freeze.

Pretty much just tuck it tight and like H &F said either a plastic bag or pantyhose and freeze it. just remember try not to wait to long... 6 months is a good time 1 year and it will start to get icky. after that very hard and maybe not even able to do it...
