Well did spend the day driving the Salton Sea and down to Wister unit looking for ducks. All I got to say is "WTF!!" Nothing is out there. Usually by this time I already seeing alot of migratory birds. This year there's nothing. Saw some mallard but I'm sure those are local birds "park ducks". My blind at the Salton Sea is completely out of water. The Highline Canal, Coachella Canal, couple main drain I drove by where I see duck in the past year have nothing in it, not even coots. Davis road was in pretty bad shape in Wister. Hazard unit don't have water in the pond H1,H2,H5,H6 all dry. This was yesterday so hope they're filling it up now. Good luck to everyone going out this Saturday. [Image: 7cc0b441a0ec0c1d62cb7189c707902d.jpg]

That's a bummer Oat. I know I have seen quite a few flying around San Jacinto when I was cruising out there. I hope our weather changes here soon and the birds come pouring in

WOW
i asked someone out close here and said some coots moved in but very few ducks as well. it is hot and the smoke up north has not helped either. i am sure once we get a cold snap it will start working for us.
